When will my laundry return? Our service includes a next day turnaround. The only days that we do not offer this option is Saturday's due to our closure on Sunday's. Dry cleaning has a 3-5 business day return time. We will contact you to let you know when it will be ready. Commercial accounts have a different pick up and drop off schedule. Please call our office or email for details. Is there a minimum? For our Pickup and Delivery service, we have a 25 lb minimum ($62.50.). For our Drop off service, we have a 20 lb minimum ($35.00.) If you combine Dry cleaning service with our wash and fold we have a $60 minimum charge for Pickup and Delivery service only. Drop off Service must equal to a minimum of $40 when combining wash and fold with Dry cleaning. This also includes combining bulk items with general wash and fold items. We do not have a minimum for Dry Cleaning only Drop off service. What is the service charge for? Our Service charge helps support the tumbo platform and covers a range of operating costs including but not limited to operations, customer support and regulatory fees. Service fees may vary and are subject to change based on any cost increases we may face. We will notify our customers should any changes occur. Service charge is not part of any tips drivers or laundry partners receive. Am I able to send my laundry for service if it's under the minimum? YES! If you have less than the minimum amount, you will be charged the minimum price. For example: If you elect to use our Drop off service and have only 15 lbs of laundry, your charge will be $35.00. If you have only 20 lbs of laundry for our Pickup and Delivery service, your charge will be $62.50. If you have 30 lbs of laundry, you are billed according to the price per lb for the elected option. For Drop off service at 30 lbs is $52.50 (price per lb $1.75.) For Pickup and Delivery service at 30 lbs is $75.00 (price per lb $2.50.) How is my laundry washed? By using our service, you agree that your clothes are suitable to be washed in water, on a normal cycle, and dried using heat in a tumble dryer. We cannot be responsible for any damage to clothing that is not suitable for this standard laundering process. We reserve the right to refuse to service items that we feel will be hazardous to our staff, such as items heavily soiled with human or animal waste. This is for the health and safety of our team. If an item cannot be cleaned properly in one wash cycle, our staff will bag the item separately from the rest of your laundry and leave a note. If the cleanliness affects a large percentage of your laundry, our team will determine if your laundry will need to be processed a second time. If a second wash is deemed necessary, you will be billed for a double wash. Do I need to meet the driver? NO! We have contactless Pickup and Deliveries for the safety of both our Tumbo Pals and Driver's. We ask that you leave your laundry is a safe area for service. If you are staying at a hotel, we usually instruct our guests to leave your laundry with the bell desk or front desk. Please contact our office via email or phone for any questions about hotel Pickups. Does the price of the laundry include the Delivery charge? YES! Our price includes the full service of our Pickup and Delivery option. For our Tumbo Pals with drop off service, we offer delivery only for an additional $15.00. Can I choose my laundry detergent? YES! We allow our Tumbo Pals to choose their laundry detergent, softener, and dryer sheet options. We have a lot to choose from! - Laundry Detergents available: Free and Clear, Hypoallergenic Lavender, Tide, and Gain - Fabric Softeners available: Snuggle, Downy, Downy Free and Gentle - Dryer Sheets: Bounce, Bounce Free and Gentle, Member's Mark Optional additions: Clorox, oxiclean, White Vinegar, Baking Soda Do you have Same-Day service? YES! We offer rush service of $24.95. This cost is additional to the cost of your laundry service. We ask that you contact us for availability at least 24 hours in advanced. You may contact us in less than 24 hours, depending on our orders, we may be able to fit you in. Do you separate my laundry for me? NO! Due to our limited space we are unable to sort laundry for our Tumbo pals. We ask that all laundry is separated according to your preferences prior to entering the facility. Do you have a load separation charge? YES! Due to the cost to operate a machine we have a 15 lb minimum load separation for both Drop off service and Pickup and Delivery. The minimum charge for a load separation with our Drop off service is $26.25. The minimum charge for a load separation with our Pickup and Delivery service is $37.50. Are you able to hang dry my clothes? NO! Due to our limited space, we are unable to offer hang dry options at this time. We recommend drying your clothes on low heat. You can contact us, or include a note on your laundry to indicated the drying temparature you would prefer. How does my laundry return? We bag all laundry in clear bags. All intimate laundry is put in a special bag to conceal it's contents. Do you treat stains? We are unable to pre-treat or remove any stains. We recommend pre treating any stains with stain remover prior to your service. We are able to add additives to your laundry to help with some stain removal or brightening. We will not be responsible for any stains that remain in your laundry once processed. What happens is my clothes are extra dirty? We wash all laundry through a normal laundry cycle. If we notice your laundry is still dirty, we will contact you and ask if you prefer a second wash. A second wash will be an additional charge according to the weight or type of item that requires extra laundering. Items with bodily fluids, urine, or fecal must be placed in a separate bag. This item may need to be washed in it's own cycle to ensure proper care. All fecal matter we require you to remove all solid matter prior to your service. We reserve the right to refuse laundry service if we feel it jeopardizes the safety of our team. I have a comforter. How am I billed? Comforters are considered bulky items and billed by the piece versus the weight. Other items that are common bulky items are rugs, blankets, and bedspreads. Each of these items are billed by the piece. How do you determine the size of my blanket? Small Blankets are anything smaller than 75 inches X 30 inches Medium Blankets are between a small blanket and 80 inches X 54 inches Large Blankets are anything larger than a medium blanket How much is 20 lbs of laundry equal to? An average adult produces about 10 lbs of laundry a week. A young child will produce approximately 7-8 lbs of laundry a week. Can I just walk in and bring my laundry? NO! You must book all services online. Our staff will not have access to any cash banks or our credit card system. Everything will be processed by our accounting team and an invoice will be emailed to you. May I switch from Drop off Service to Pickup and Delivery? YES! We allow our customers to switch options, please contact us directly to make the change. Drop off service is limited to availability. If we do not have the option available, we may need to reschedule your service date to the next available time.
